Team Safety – Effective Safety Committees

Learn how to create an effective safety team. Employee engagement is the key to a successful safety program. This National Safety Council one-day course shows you how to make group safety efforts work for your organization. You’ll learn how to build an effective safety team – or get the most from the team you have.

Discussions, demonstrations and exercises will teach you how to create a group safety program, including how to develop your team’s safety skills and enable them to make a positive impact on your organization’s safety culture. The result: a more effective safety team, which means measurable improvements for your organization.

Continuing Education Units: Attend this course and earn .65 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the Minnesota Safety Council.

Location: This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road (Concordia Avenue) past the American Lung Association. Turn right into our lower level parking lot.

Please make reservations directly with the hotel and be sure to identify yourself as a participant in a Minnesota Safety Council training course to receive the preferred rate.

Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least three business days prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three business days prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance.
