Aerial Lift Train-the-Trainer (July)

This workshop will provide you with the technical expertise needed for proper use, operation and maintenance of scissor lifts, boom lifts and man lifts. Completion of this workshop will qualify you to conduct an effective training session and perform operator assessments. Topics include: ANSI A90 requirements, the new ANSI/SAIA A92.22 and 92.24 requirements, MEWP (old AWP) operation, manufacturer requirements, maintenance requirements and key inspection points, pre-work inspection of work areas, rental issues and evaluating operator training. Continuing Education Units: .35 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) Location: This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road (Concordia Avenue) past the American Lung Association. Turn right into our lower level parking lot. Lodging: Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown, 175 West 7th Street in St. Paul. Reservations can be made directly by calling 651-225-1515 or booking online, single or double occupancy. Please make reservations directly with the hotel and be sure to identify yourself as a participant in a Minnesota Safety Council training course to receive the preferred rate. Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least three business days prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three business days prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance. |

Consultant
Gary has over 25 combined years’ of experience in construction, healthcare, manufacturing management and safety programs. He is a consultant, has a B.S. in electrical engineering. An MBA, OSHA Authorized construction outreach trainer and has also been an adjunct instructor at Century College. Gary brings a broad perspective from his years of experience of safety training to his students and classes.
