30-Hour OSHA General Industry Course

Supervisors and those desiring more extensive safety and health training will receive a variety of training. This course provides a greater depth and variety of training on an expanded list of topics from the 10-hour course. Workers can receive additional training on hazards specific to their job. 30 hours of mandatory and optional topics will be covered.

OSHA Training Institute will issue course completion cards to each student. Students wanting to teach others the curriculum must take the OSHA 511 and OSHA 501.

Cancellation Policy:
Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least five business days prior to the course for a full refund.

Bill Schreiner    
Consultant
Bill is a highly skilled consultant, instructor and presenter in a wide variety of areas of occupational safety and OSHA compliance with nearly 50 years of experience in construction, general industry and commercial vehicle safety. He is an authorized trainer from the OSHA Training Institute and National Safety Education Center and an expert trainer in forklifts, aerial lifts, heavy machinery and commercial motor vehicles.


Terry Larson, GSP    
Safety Council Staff
Terry S. Larson, GSP is a lifelong resident of Minnesota. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety from Waldorf University. Prior to coming to the Minnesota Safety Council, Terry worked in the general industry field as well as the Minnesota Army National Guard. In these roles he helped to reduce the risk of injury and illness for workers. Terry’s passion lies in collaborating across boundaries to find common ground in delivering safety education and training programs to create the safest possible work area.
