Silica Awareness

Millions of workers in both construction and general industry are exposed to respirable crystalline silica in their working environments and many are at levels that exceed safe exposure limits. OSHA has issued standards for both general industry and construction to protect workers from this ever-increasing hazard. This class covers the requirements of the updated standards and what we as employers and safety professionals need to know to achieve compliance and protect workers.

Length: Half day

Continuing Education Units: .35 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Location: This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road (Concordia Avenue) past the American Lung Association. Turn right into our lower level parking lot.

Please make reservations directly with the hotel and be sure to identify yourself as a participant in a Minnesota Safety Council training course to receive the preferred rate.

Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least three business days prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three business days prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance.
