Load and Cargo Securement

A company may transport product, machinery, or any number of items in support of customers or its business. Fleet managers and their companies are responsible for ensuring those items are transported safely, efficiently, and free from damage. Failure to transport properly secured items may result in property damage, injury, or even a fatality. Claims from these incidents cost companies hundreds of millions of dollars annually.

This interactive course provides load securement training to drivers involved in the hauling of a variety of cargo. The class features updated Minnesota and Federal laws regarding proper securement methods and devices.

Length: 2 hours

Location: This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road (Concordia Avenue) past the American Lung Association. Turn right into our lower level parking lot.

Please make reservations directly with the hotel and be sure to identify yourself as a participant in a Minnesota Safety Council training course to receive the preferred rate.

Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least three business days prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three business days prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance.
