Confined Spaces: Fundamentals for the Entry Team

Confined spaces present special hazards that must be evaluated and controlled using a variety of systems. The primary emphasis will be on the hazards, systems (atmospheric monitoring, ventilation) programs (LOTO, permits) and equipment (PPE, rescue) needed to enable attendees to develop a confined space program for their workplace. Does not include hands-on training.

Length: Half Day

Continuing Education Units: .65 Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

Location: This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road (Concordia Avenue) past the American Lung Association. Turn right into our lower level parking lot.

Please make reservations directly with the hotel and be sure to identify yourself as a participant in a Minnesota Safety Council training course to receive the preferred rate.

Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least three business days prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three business days prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance.
