Coaching the School Bus Driver

Most school bus drivers are extremely conscientious about the safety of students riding in their buses and pride themselves on a good driving record. But their passenger car driving skills aren't always enough.

The National Safety Council's newly revised eight-hour "Coaching the School Bus Driver" course is designed exclusively for school bus drivers. A comprehensive VHS video presentation is used throughout the course presentation. Slides are used to create scenarios for drivers to discuss. Each driver receives a 30-page driver workbook with reinforcing exercises and a certificate of completion. (A patch is also available at an additional cost.)

Fee: $550 (1 - 10 students) plus $25 for each additional student, and travel expenses, if any.
