  • November 17: Safety Culture Awareness Learn how to motivate employees and practical techniques for positively affecting safe behavior.
  • November 19: Protecting Health Care Workers: A Process Safety Approach Approved for 3.5 clock hours by the Minnesota Board of Examiners for Nursing Home Administrators.
  • November 29: Learn How to Navigate the OSHA Website If you are even remotely involved in safety, you MUST become familiar with OSHA's web page. Learn the various sections of the OSHA Public Home Page plus how to search, access and download information.
  • December 3: How to Manage an OSHA Inspection Learn from a Minnesota OSHA consultant how to prepare in advance for a possible OSHA inspection; how to successfully resolve issues identified by an inspector, how the appeal process works, what the agency looks for before issuing a citation; how the negotiation process works; and what the future looks like from an enforcement standpoint.
  • December 10: Pre-Construction Planning Pre-Construction planning is key to injury prevention and managing final project costs. Learn cost-effective project management.

  • December 1-2 Safety Management for Supervisors Become a safety leader. Learn hazard types, analysis and control, inspections, accident response and investigation and OSHA compliance. Apply safety management, communications and training principles to influence employee behavior. Upon completion you will be awarded the Supervisor Safety Certificate.
  • December 6-9 Safety Management Techniques If you have a good background in accident prevention and want to improve your safety management skills this is the course for you! Part of the National Safety Council Advanced Safety Certificate.
  • December 15-17 OSHA 502 Update for Construction Outreach Trainers Required update every 4 years for certified OSHA trainers who are active trainers in the outreach program.
  • December 21-22 OSHA 500 10-Hour Construction Safety Course
  • January 10-14 Fundamentals of Industrial Hygiene This course is for you if you are a safety, health and/or environmental professional or manager with industrial hygiene responsibilities but limited training or experience in this area. Part of the Advanced Safety Certificate.
