Employer Resources for Impaired Driving Campaign, July 3 - July 26 Join in the effort to reduce and prevent traffic crashes, the leading cause of workplace death. Provide information to your employees about the hazards of impaired driving, which is the focus of the upcoming Safe & Sober enforcement campaign, July 3 - July 26. July is consistently one of the deadliest months for alcohol-related crashes: from 2004-06, 67 motorists were killed in alcohol-related crashes and more than 10,000 were arrested for DWI. Support the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, the Minnesota Network of Employers for Traffic Safety, law enforcement agencies and other businesses throughout the state in the effort to prevent these human and economic losses. See http://www.minnesotasafetycouncil.org/nets/impaireddriving.htm for resources and information on how to get involved. Three Options for First Aid/CPR/AED Training Summer can be an ideal time to train your employees in First Aid/CPR/AED. We offer three training options to help meet your needs: You can send someone to our monthly classes at the Minnesota Safety Council, bring us onsite to train at your location, or we can train one of your own employees to become your in-house trainer.
