This week:
  • A question from Gina: What topics would you like to see covered in our new Webcast training sessions?
  • Zap those dog days! Gina's got great training sessions (including electrical safety training with Art Hawes) lined up right through August and beyond.
  • And from Russ: Support the knowledge you bring back from Art's two-day session with a video-based electrical safety training program for your employees.
Webcast Training: Safety in Small Bytes...
We need your feedback. This fall, we'll begin using Web technology to provide mini-training and info sessions for members. Webcasts will allow you to participate in live interactive sessions without leaving your desk. They use the Internet for visuals and your telephone for audio. They'll usually be between an hour and two hours in length including Q&A. For the cost of one "seat," you 'll be able to attend as an individual or have your whole safety committee or other employee groups participate. We've heard from members that Webcasts are a great way to get info to you on regulatory changes and to provide mini-training sessions for safety committees. We're looking for ideas on specific topics which would be helpful to you. What Webcast topics would you or others from your organization likely register for? Please e-mail your response to Gina Hoffman at hoffman@mnsafetycouncil.org. Thanks for your input.
