OSHA compliance support in plain English
Every day, OSHA compliance questions are fired at you - and you're expected to have the answers. Wouldn't it be great if you could respond to those questions quickly and confidently? Now you can, with our OSHA Compliance Manual and our Right-To-Know Compliance Manual. Both of these easy-to-use manuals cut through the confusing regulatory language to spell out basic solutions for complying OSHA standards. The OSHA Compliance Manual covers all of the general industry safety topics while the Right To Know Compliance Manual shows you step-by-step how to comply with each of the major sections under OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard. On sale now for only $165 each, AND take an additional 10 percent Minnesota Safety Council member discount. To order, call Russ at 651-228-7326 or e-mail:budin@mnsafetycouncil.org.

U of M seeks discussion group members from small manufacturers
The University of Minnesota Divison of Environmental and Occupational Health is holding discussions around the state with smaller manufacturers (10-50 employees) to find out what they think of written information on employee health and safety. The information that comes from these two-hour sessions will be used to design a newsletter addressing workplace health and safety issues important to owners. Participants will receive a $100 stipend. For more information, contact Ann Frederickson at the U of M, 612-626-0650
