The Bad News is...
Each year more pedestrians are killed than die in airline, sea and train crashes combined. In Minnesota, in 2006, 38 pedestrians were killed and 906 were injured. Nearly four percent of pedestrian crashes resulted in a death, compared to about one-half of one percent for all traffic crashes.

The Good News is...
Most pedestrian injuries and deaths can be prevented!
