This one-day course is designed to help participants review basic math skills prior to sitting for a certification examination. It begins with a review of measuring systems, (English and metric), proceeds through conversions, and ends with algebra and trigonometry. Students should bring a scientific calculator (TI30XIIS). Specific functions include logarithms, trigonometry functions, scientific format, and standard deviation. |

Location: This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center or Annex (see previous page for specific location), both located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road. Parking is available in both upper and lower parking lots.
Lodging: Holiday Inn St. Paul Downtown, 175 West 7th Street in St. Paul. Reservations can be made directly by calling 651-225-1515 or booking online, single or double occupancy. Please make reservations directly with the hotel and be sure to identify yourself as a participant in a Minnesota Safety Council training course to receive the preferred rate.
Cancellation Policy: Pre-registration and payment are required. Hopefully you won't need to cancel, but if you do, please do so at least three business days prior to the course for a full refund. No refunds will be made after three business days prior to the course. This policy will be enforced, so please plan ahead if you need to cancel your attendance.
