This course will cover NFPA 70E ("qualified person") electrical safety training requirements including the new NFPA 70E 2012 edition regulatory changes. It will help you recognize and avoid electrical hazards in the workplace.|
After attending this class your employees will know:
- What a "qualified person" is as defined by OSHA.
- What an arc flash/arc blast is.
- Who must be trained.
- Proper selection and use of PPE.
- Clearance distances.
- Proper lockout/tagout procedures.
- How to recognize electrical hazards.

This course will be held at the Minnesota Safety Council Resource Center or Annex (see previous page for specific location), both located at 474 Concordia Avenue in St. Paul. Take the Dale Street exit from I-94. Proceed east on south frontage road. Parking is available in both upper and lower parking lots.
